Interpreting

COST PER HOUR
Hourly Rate $25.00
​1 hr and in 15-minute increments the following hours plus mileage if it is out of town.

Translation

​The translation rate is based on a per-word pricing fee. There's a sliding fee depending on the number of words the document has (see chart below). Timing and complexity will also be contributing elements to the price.
 
The word count will be obtained by Microsoft Word software. Documents that are only available in printed material or scanned, will be given an estimated cost, however, the final cost of the translation will depend on the number of words counted on the translated file.

                      Up to 100 words $0.12
                      101 + words $0.10

                  b) TIMING
                       Rush delivery +5% of the cost of translation

                  c) COMPLEXITY
                      Technical Vocabulary $0.02 additional cents to the cost per word

 

​NOTES:

  • Documents that will be presented in Court or involved in a Court case, CANNOT be translated by a translator unless he or she has been Court certified, is an attorney or is in the presence of an attorney. In this case, La Luz CC will not be able to translate these types of documents.

  • Documents that are illegible will not be translated.
