We the Many

We the Many centers immigrant and Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) communities and artists across the Midwest, with the aim of building stronger community connections, using art as a vehicle for social change, and fully embracing cultural vitality.

We the Many has partnered with La Luz to provide art opportunities for our community. 

Upcoming Events

We the Many and La Luz have many projects in progress. Through these events are created to promote community unity and belonging. 

"We the Many" Festival Concert - March 4, 2023 at 7pm at Faith Baptist Church in Hampton, IA

Gran Festival - June 10, 2023 at Bandshell Park in Hampton, IA 

Community Based

We the Many is a community-based artist-in-residency program hosted in three states at a time across the Midwest. We the Many supports existing and new creative community-building initiatives in a priority area of each state based on a racial, cultural and economic equity lens.
